At the Hawaii International Dance Expo (HIDX), our workshops are meticulously crafted to stand out from other festivals. We ensure that workshop titles are clear and specific, indicating the targeted movements and skill levels - whether for beginners or advanced students. Our top experienced teachers,  that are coming from all over the world, excel at breaking down techniques and movements, covering everything from stretching, drills, calisthenics to cross-body leads, footwork, and patterns. No stone is left unturned in offering comprehensive and enriching workshop experiences.

 

After a day of immersive learning, attendees can look forward to vibrant social dancing at night across multiple rooms featuring salsa, bachata, zouk, and kizomba music. With the freedom to move from room to room, attendees can enjoy an array of music styles and dance to their hearts' content. To ensure inclusivity and maximum enjoyment on the dance floor, we proudly feature Taxi Dancers who are ready to dance with anyone, ensuring that no attendee is left out.

 

Our beach party is on Sunday at 2:00pm at the Kuhio Beach. We also host the pre-party on Thursday at the nightclub.
